This is precisely the thing that’s got me worried now. All these wackos that Palin’s getting worked into a lather — what will THEY do when Obama wins? I fear they won’t just say, “Aw shucks, we’ll get ‘em next time!” and go back into the woodwork. The extreme ones will have seen that they’re not alone in their thinking–that others (including a potential VP, for god’s sake) feel the same way they do. That’s some scary shit.

Spartacus: Someone on Kos has a friend who works with the Secret Service and has covered for Obama from time to time. Apparently the Secret Service guys like him because he’s down to earth. The diarist also noted that they weren’t all that thrilled with Hillary when she was first lady.
