Yes, PiNYC, these people are real and they even live in the Long Island suburbs. Only they drive Lexuses and BMWs and vote for people like Peter King in the hopes that their neighborhoods and lawns won’t be overrun by the Black and Latino menace.
I unfortunately made it through the whole thing and at the end the “lady” says repeatedly that she was a Hillary supporter.
I just can’t make the jump the headline says that viewers “meets Palin’s base”
These folks (if real) are just a said part of society who are trying to come up with a “logical” excuse for not liking Obama.
My boss’s wife can say with a straight face that “I just can’t vote for Obama. It’s not that he’s black because I’m not a racist. There is just something about the way he looks that I just don’t trust him”
I gently suggest that she might be having an internal conflict>
She can then say with the same serious look, “I can’t be racist; why I was just mentioning to my son that Usher is having a conceert and I’d like to go because he’s such a good singer. You see, that proves I’m not racist.”
Ah, well. You can lead a horse to water but you can’t make it drink!
Man, Spartacus, I must have lived a pretty sheltered life in the Jersey burbs. That said, I did grow up in one of the few towns (ten in all, I believe) that had a slight majority of jewish residents. The rest of us were Italian, Greek, Filipino and some Irish (for color). Pretty diverse for a suburb.

You are funny, DCup. Please tell me you are joking. I could only watch about 20 seconds…it was painful.

They paused for a moment to whittle and call for Pa and the vittles.
People like this are too dumb to live.
