I’m going to be honest about this. I have no motivation to blog right now. That’s not to say that I’m not interested in what’s happening, but events in my life have taken a new turn which are currently directing my attention elsewhere. So for now, that’s where my focus remains. I’ve reached a point where I need to make some decisions about matters related to career and personal growth, and blogging just isn’t a part of that. Since I took this up in 2005, a lot of my life has been given over to the process, and now it’s time to reclaim what has been temporarily put aside. This is just not a priority right now, and I’m sure that at some point I’ll return, but for now, I have a lot of catching up to do.

When I was out walking the dog earlier a truck went by and hit had a sticker on it for something but all I could make out was Morse.
I of course thought of you.
And here you are with this news. Life brings different chapters, so you begin a new one with no blogging.
You were an early reader and commenter on my blog and you always made me feel like I had said something worthwhile when I was so unsure. I thank you for that.
Then I had the great good pleasure to be a guest in your home and meet you all – it was a delight.
Be well and keep in touch if you wish. And blog again if you feel so inclined as it certainly suits you.
Now that I have returned to full time work, I am not sure what I will be able to do around this any longer. We shall see!
Peace dear Morse!

Hey Morse… thanks for your brand of wit, wisdom and snark. Like Fran, I not only consider myself one of the fortunate for being a part of the same blogosphere as you, but having been invited into your home to enjoy the company and hospitality you and your family had to offer. Thank you. Be well. I hope you come back to writing soon.

It’s cool man. Come back when you want.

Oh please, Morsey baby.
All it’ll take is one good scandal and you’ll be back like gangbusters.
So take your hiatus and let us know when you’re back.
And you will be back.
Love,
KarenZipdrive

i think that many of us have taken a sabbatical from regular blogging. i know i have too
take your time- life takes precedence over the blogosphere. although your voice is missed

What everyone else said. I’m finding it harder to blog because, well, this political shit is wearing thing. That said, hope you come back some time. When you want to, of course.

Happens to everybody. If my issue were resolved, I’d find it hard to keep on keeping on too.
Sometimes you just get blocked for awhile, sometimes you get depressed or if you’re lucky some real life stuff gets interesting.
I’m a relatively new reader, but I’ve really enjoyed your brand of wit and snark.
So, good luck to you in your other pursuits.
Selma
PS You’ll be back!

When you retire from blogging, the terrorists win.
;>)
Just kidding, Morse. RL should always take precedence, for without it the pickings would be mighty slim in the inspiration and frustration department.
Best of wishes, and be seeing you.

Man, have I been there before. I hope you come back, even if only on a parttime basis.

Take care of yourself and your personal needs Morse. As Dark Black says..RL (real life) always takes the top priority.

Okay, Morse, we were sweet and understanding in the beginning but it’s time to get the harness and saddle back on and start blogging again.
You’re way too smart and funny to deprive us of your clever, witty entries.
Come back to us-we need you.
