Just for the record, for many years I worked as a tracer for financial services companies, locating missing shareholders to whom these corporations were obligated to return money. There were stipulations that these companies first attempt due diligence to locate these people before hiring the firm I was with. They were almost always reluctant to use our services, but it was somewhat expected as a matter of the appearances, if not mandatory. And it was telling that it was often the case with the insurance companies, that they had made little or no effort to locate the policy holder or the heirs, whichever the case may have been. Often it was simply a matter of a few phone calls; sometimes as easy as looking in the phone book.

Case in fucking point! No matter what comes of reform, the fucking insurance companies will bleed us.

The Democrats promise that a government health care system will reduce the cost of health care, but as the economist Thomas Sowell has pointed out, government health care will not reduce the cost; it will simply refuse to pay the cost. And who will suffer the most when they ration care? The sick, the elderly, and the disabled, of course. The America I know and love is not one in which my parents or my baby with Down Syndrome will have to stand in front of Obama’s “death panel” so his bureaucrats can decide, based on a subjective judgment of their “level of productivity in society,” whether they are worthy of health care. Such a system is downright evil.

Sure. Tell that to the wolves that were brutally gunned down from low flying planes during your incomplete first term as Alaska’s chief spokesmodel. This is exactly the kind of inflammatory bullshit that will result in one of Glenn Beck’s fans fanatics walking into a town hall meeting with a weapon. After all, Beck has already set the tone by his deranged attempts to incite violence by trying to mask it as humor.

But the real punchline in Caribou Barbie’s screed comes a few paragraphs down when she cites Michele Bachmann (R-Jeebus Bunny) as being a source of inspiration for opposing health care reform.
